Gilgit Baltistan  Northern Area of Pakistan is the   most spectacular and fascinating region of Pakistan. It is here that the world's three famous mountain ranges meet - the Himalayas, the Karakorams and the Hindukush.  Spread over 72,496 sq. km is as charming as its southern region. Amidst gigantic snow-clad  peaks with heights varying from 1,000 m to 8,000 meters, the regions of Gilgit Baltistan . There are many lakes and meadows high up in the mountains waiting for you.
  The cultural patterns of these regions are as interesting as its geography. The people with typical costumes, folk dances, music and sports like polo and buzkashi, provide the traveler an unforgettable experience.
