Nepal is the home of great Peaks and enchanting beauty of cliffs that really attract the tourist from all over the world. It contains the highest elevations in the world including 8,848 meters (29,029 ft) height and many other mighty peaks. It is located at the border between Tibet China and the Khumbu region of Nepal. The peak is ranked 4th in worlds highest peaks.The western flank of Lhotse is known as the Lhotse Face. It is necessary courage face snow, glaciers
and ice to climb Lhotse. Any climber bound for the South Col on Everest must climb this 1,125m (3,700 ft) wall of glacial blue ice.



Location & Elevation:
Lhotse is 3rd highest peak in Nepal and fourth in the world that stands at an elevation of 8501m (27920 feet) above sea level. It is located at the border between China (Tibet) and the region of Nepal (Khumbu).
Climbing and View:
This peak is connected to Mount Everest via the South Col. The western flank of Lhotse is known as the Lhotse Face. Any climber bound for the South Col on Everest must climb this 1,125m (3,700 ft) wall of glacial blue ice. In addition to the main summit at 8,516 meters above sea level, Lhotse Middle (East) is 8,414 meters and Lhotse Shar is 8,383 meters. The rises 3.2 km (1.98 mi) in only 2.25 km (1.4 mi) of horizontal distance, making it the steepest face of this size in the world.

First Ascent: it was first climbed on May 18, 1956 by Fritz Luchsinger and Ernst Reiss.
