Kakani is most beautiful location for viewing the mountain scenery. The fabulous holiday’s area of Kakani features attractions ranging from beautiful alpine scenery to the magnificent Himalayan panorama particularly of the Ganesh Himal massif. Location:
It is located 29-km north-west of the Kathmandu city at an elevation of 2002m. it is accessible both by road and air from Katmandu city and transport is easily available from Khathmandu city.
Accommodation:
All major facilities are available for tourists. As one of the most accessible settlements from Kathmandu over 2000 meters, this hill station hosts a British Gurkhas welfare bungalow and a couple of simple hotels offering basic accommodation to travelers.
